Norm is a graduate of Clark University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors in economics, a Juris Doctor Degree from Boston University School of Law, a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation from the New York University School of Law and an Honorary Degree, Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate, corporations and business planning and estate planning.  He has been involved in numerous real estate partnerships and co-developer in Greater Worcester and Rhode Island, including Parkview Office Tower, Lynden House, Executive House and Tupperware Mill.  He has been very active in the community serving on many boards of trustees, and committees including Commerce Bank, Clark University and Becker College.  He served on the Board of Trustees of the University of Massachusetts as its Vice-Chair. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Massachusetts Building Authority and the University of Massachusetts Foundation.

Norm is a big sports fan being a Patriots season ticket holder, big supporter of the Worcester Red Sox, and the Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan. He enjoys down time at his Cape Cod home.
